The ARRL Logbook of the World provides a reliable and secure method for confirming QSO's electronically. I think it's one of the most valuable services provided by the ARRL. My hat goes off to those who developed the software. To create a web-based application like this, one that must handle huge amounts of data accurately, reliably, and securely, while still allowing open access to all, is quite a job.
Each month I create a ADIF file containing my QSO's for that month and download it to LoTW.
As of July 8, 2006 I have 23,075 QSO's in LoTW and 4,188 QSL's.
